Thoroughly deserved win for the visitors who, arriving very late, missed their pre match preparation. It didn't show though as they held the upperhand for much of the game. The Bs were second best in two key areas, team work and stamina. Too often the Bs players were isolated and had to battle to keep possession and build the play. There was too little controlled link up and support play.

Harlington carved out several good chances in the first half. Joe, in goal again in Stephen's abscence, produced some good saves. But the Bs were carved apart by a simple diagonal ball that picked out an attacking player on the left who controlled it and then slammed it home. The Bs were level on 25 minutes when Jordan's floated free kick near the edge of the box was followed up by Thomas who slid it home.

The Bs had chances but were too slow to get themselves in shooting positions and often looked for the perfect chance rather than grab the half chance. Too many shooting opportunities went begging as a result. This was emphasised when a neat attack found Nick in shooting range but in trying to set it up, he was muscled off the ball and the opportunity disappeared. Harlington instantly sprung a break which found an attacker on the right of the area. He simply put his head down and went for goal, brushing aside Jay and his shot flew into the far corner. Nick showed some neat touches when dropping deep and he had the best of the Bs few chances.

After the break the Bs handed Harlington the initiative gifting them the softest of goals. Joe took a goal kick but miskicked and Harlington's striker snapped up the simple chance shooting powerfully past him. Francis, Russ, Luis and Thomas had chances for the Bs. The Bs switched Russ out of defence to add more of a threat up front. But Harlington grabbed another on 68 minutes from an attack down the left. Jordan and Russ switched to the centre of midfield to add some more competitiveness to the Bs play and to improve the passing. With seven minutes to go Russ got one back heading home Luis's fine cross. A minute later and Russ, attacking down the right, chipped over a perfect cross to the back post. Thomas arrived but steered his header wide. With that chance went the Bs last hope of a late recovery. But in truth it would have been hard on Harlington.

There weren't that many great individual performances. Joe showed steady improvement and did well to keep the visitors out with several fine saves. Ali, for the second week running was very calm and controlled and is clearly a real asset. Jay also built on his good display from last week with determined tackles. Thomas and Kyle put in a huge amount of effort but Jordan took the man of match award. He did a good job at right back but, with insufficient support ahead, took the initiative, upped his game and showed much needed fight, control and urgency to try and get the game back for the Bs.
