Headstone Manor - FA National Charter Award Winners 2006

Headstone Manor YFC has been awarded the 2006 National Charter Standard Club Award. The club has been recognised as the best Charter Standard Club out of 1,700 in England. The award was presented to club chairman Kevin Duffy before the England v Macedonia Euro 2008 Qualifier at Old Trafford.

Kevin said of the award, "This is a tremendous achievement which would not have been achieved had it not have been for the sterling efforts of Alyson Angelides. Her superb efforts enabled us to obtain the Charter Standard Mark in the first instance. To receive this Award it also means that so many managers and coaches have committed to obtaining Level 1s, 2s, Child Protection, First Aid qualifications, CRBs etc, so I would be grateful if you would accept my thanks and also pass on my appreciation to all of your helpers, coaches, parents and players who have made this possible."
