Headstone completed a perfect weekend with two convincing wins in two days and they are now unbeaten in their last five matches. This was their biggest ever win sealed with a good start and finish. Kodak went three goals down early on but never gave up. They quickly got a goal back but whereas in the past Headstone have let teams get back in it, here they held firm.

Headstone had a great start with their fastest goal after only 50 seconds. Thomas Green scored the goal to add to his fine strike yesteday. Playing downhill Headstone pushed Kodak back with a series of attacks built from good passing play. After just 8 minutes Kushal's powerful shot from inside the area was too strong for the keeper and Headstone were 2-0 up. Five minutes later it was 3-0. Headstone attacked down the right wing, Thomas drifted into the area and with his second attempt curled the ball superbly into the far corner.

Kodak pushed forward and got a very good goal shortly after. Following a Kodak attack the ball fell to one of their players on the edge of the area who volleyed the ball into the corner beyond Rory. Rory made an excellent save shortly after and ahead of him Daniel and Ciaran battled hard to limit Kodak's chances.

Warren came on for Jordan Coleman midway through the half and played well down the right wing. Conor and Thomas picked up from yesterday and were very effective in midfield. Up front Kushal worked very hard and had five chances but couldn't add to his early goal.

In the second half Jordan Coleman came on for Conor on the left and made some good passes as Headstone again threatened the Kodak goal. Kushal, Thomas and Daniel had shots that went close. Thomas made a good break down the right wing and his high shot hit the bar. Kodak looked much stronger early in the half and won several corners. Headstone resorted to some desperate defending at times but kept Kodak out. Midway through the half Jordan Wright came on in goal for Rory and Conor replaced Jordan Coleman.

Conor gave Headstone a little extra spark and as Kodak tired Headstone finished the game off with three late goals. Warren, who worked very well in midfield winning the ball and passing well, scored in the 42nd minute with a good shot from inside the area. Two minutes later Conor made it 5-1 with a well taken goal from close range. By this time Headstone were sweeping ahead regularly with their midfield players running through to support Kushal. From one such attack Kushal got his second of the game with three minutes left.

After so many good performances without getting the results they deserved, Headstone showed that they can play well, take their chances and hold a lead. Ten goals and six points from two days made a great weekend. Warren was man of the match for his good performance capped by his second goal for the B team.
