Headstone Manor didn't play at all in February after four consecutive postponed matches but they finally got back into action at Technicolor and produced a magnificent team performance. On a mild sunny day on a firm pitch both teams worked really hard and at the end a draw was a fair result.

In the first half Headstone produced one of their best ever performances. The passing from all of the players was excellent. In defence Ciaran and Michael were always in control working really well together and never allowed Technicolor any chances. So much so that Jordan Wright had virtually nothing to do. Thomas, Jordan Coleman and Kushal in midfield had plenty of possession and worked hard to create chances for Russell up front.

But it was Michael who had the first chance with a good shot from outside the area that went just wide. Shortly afterwards Thomas had a good shot after a long run by Russell and then Kushal almost caught out the goalkeeper with a high lob from distance.

At half time George came on for Kushal. Technicolor started the second half much stronger and pinned Headstone back in defence for the first time. But five minutes into the half Headstone broke away and after a good run into the area Russell slotted the ball home. Shortly after Conor came on up front in place of Russell.

Technicolor nearly scored with a good header from a corner and then from a direct free kick which went just over. Then after 40 minutes they equalised when a shot from just inside the area went past Jordan Wright who was unsighted. Five minutes from the end Russell came on again in place of Jordan Coleman and Kushal came on for George who hurt his chest. Russell, Thomas and Conor created a good chance at the end but Technicolor held on and the teams shared the points.

Michael was man of the match for his best performance for the B team.
