Previous tournaments
The Under 13s took a party of over 80 to Lloret de Mar from 26th May to 2nd June 2007 to take part in the Catalonia Cup. We fielded two teams who played in the two groups of the Under 13s competition. Altogether there were six teams competing, four of which were from England and two of these were from Headstone Manor!

Each team would play once against the other teams in their own group and at the end of the group stage they would play a final against the team who finished in the same position in the other group. So each team would get three matches. The matches took place at the Riudarenes sports centre on superb pitches - the best grass seen by any of the Headstone players.

Penya Solero were disqualified from the tournament and their points awarded to Headstone Manor B and Whitley Bay.

At the closing ceremony all the players were rewarded with medals and the captains of the As and Bs, Ryan Hayes and Russell Butlin collected the team’s trophies.
