West Drayton Boys FC Tournament - 11 May 2003

We entered three teams in this tournament and the A team reached the semi finals of the Plate.

A Team
The A team played in Group C against Bessingby B, Rocks Lane and Taplow Boys B. They lost their first two matches 0-1 against Bessingby and Rocks Lane but then finished with a flourish with a 3-0 win over Taplow thanks to goals from Dhyanesh. This meant they finished 3rd with 3 points.

B Team
The B team played in Group B against Hayes, Hayes End Wanderers B and Yiewsley Predators A. They lost all 3 matches, 0-1 to Yiewsley and Hayes EW and 0-2 to Hayes. This meant they finished 4th with 0 points.

C Team
The C team played in Group A against WDBC, Heathrow Harriers and Yiewsley Predators B. They drew their first match 1-1 against Yiewsley thanks to a goal from Nathan and would have won but for a disallowed goal. They then lost 0-4 to Heathrow but finished with a 1-1 draw against WDBC thanks to a goal from Brett. This meant they finished 4th with 2 points.

All the teams then went into the Plate, a knockout for the 3rd and 4th place teams. The A and C teams were drawn against each other and the A team won through 2-0. The B team played Harrow St Mary's and were knocked out 0-1. The A team then played Harrow St Mary's in the Plate Semi Final and in a closely fought match narrowly lost 0-1 to a late goal.
