| A team on tour to Holland |
The A team are on tour later this month going to Holland staying at Park Zandvoort which is 35km from Amsterdam. The tour will take place between the 26th May and the 30th May. The boys and families will travel from London on coach to the Channel Tunnel and then onto Park Zandvoort staying 4 nights at the park. The boys will play three Cup matches against local teams. On Tuesday 27th they play against DSOV for the DSOV Cup, then on 28th against SV Zandervoort for the European Challenge Cup and on 29th against the Solid Air Select 11 for the Solid Air Cup. Center Parcs has been selected as the venue since it offers a large range of activities for all ages. A special thank you to Colin Green and Alex McFarlane of Solid Air Ltd who have arranged a very special final day for the boys on the tour. On Thursday 29th May after the game against the Solid Air Select 11, Solid Air have laid on a buffet lunch for both teams. They have then organised for the boys to visit the Ajax stadium on a tour and they have also agreed to assist in the purchase of tops for both sets of boys to remember the occasion. This will be a very exciting day for the boys and we appreciate all the hardwork that they have kindly put into the day. |

If you'd scored 58 goals this season wouldn't you think that's enough. Not if your name is Liam Coles. As the A team won 6-0 against Pinnacle, Liam notched another five goals. This took the tally of the As front two, Liam and Michael, to 100 goals for the season. This game was the first of three that the Harrow Youth League have awarded the points to their opponents. Credit to Pinnacle, Ealing Rangers and AFC Ruislip who have agreed to play the matches. The League's decision to deny the As the points arose because the As were appealing against the League's equally astonishing decision to deny the As promotion last season. The fact that the As won this match convincingly and are unbeaten at the top of Division 1, shows how unfair both decisions are. See all the Division 1 results and the league table. Having finished their league programme the B team played a friendly at home to Bessingby Park Rangers B and won |

| Headstone Manor Fund Raising for Pancreatic Cancer | Les Niewiara, manager of the U14s Girls team, would like your support for his Bike to the Future - Ride around the World event which aims to raise funds to support the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK. Les is cycling 950 miles from London (Hammersmith) to Krakow in Poland to help raise awareness and funds and is aiming to get the whole club involved in supporting the charity. His idea is for Headstone Manor to try to organise a 'Ride around the World' event on Saturday June 28th, in which young people from the club and their friends / relatives (and managers / coaches) would complete as many laps of the park as possible. There would be a minimum fee for participation in the event (to be decided), and if anybody would want to collect additional sponsorship, then that would also be great. The combined miles / kms cycled would then be added to the overall target. The funds raised would be split between both the charity and Headstone Manor. Interested? Find out more here. |
| Get fit soon Michael | Best wishes and a smooth and speedy recovery to Michael Prendeville after he broke his leg in a holiday football coaching session. It's a big blow to the A team as he and Liam Coles have forged a tremendous strike partnership hitting more than 90 goals between them. Michael has scored an amazing 37 goals. We look forward to seeing Michael as strong, fast, fit and lethal as ever next season in front of goal. |
