Tour to Spain 2009The A team returned to Spain for the Catalonia Cup staying at Lloret de Mar near Barcelona. The tour, which took place from 24th May to 27th May, was a great success. On 24th May the As beat FC Susenic 3-1, then on 25th May they beat Crown Paints 7-0 and followed this win with wins against Hackney Borough 4-0 and Headstone Manor U13s 6-0. This took them to the Final of the Catalonia Cup where they triumphed over Ramsgate FC by 2-0. Jack Middleton, making his last appearance for the As before his move to QPR, collected the Goalkeeper of the Tournament trophy. Congratulations to everyone who took part on the tour and to everyone who supported the team.
